Kit Siang weeps over ROS letter

JOHOR BARU: An emotional DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang today shed tears over the non- recognition of the DAP leadership by the Registrar of Societies (ROS).

“April 18, 2013… has been the most heart-rending day in my life,” Lim said at a press conference, tears streaming down his cheeks as he read out a statement.

Regaining his composure, he added: “It was the day when the Registrar of Societies dispatched a letter to the DAP to knock out the Rocket symbol from the 13th general election.”

Anwar’s ‘sex video clone’ to be revealed

PETALING JAYA: The supposed clone used in the sex videos which implicated Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to make an appearance at a ceramah tonight.
The person, who is a Thai national, will be making an appeareance at the ‘Bongkar’ (exposed) ceramah in Penanti, Permatang Pauh, which is Anwar’s constituency, after the evening prayers.
Harakahdaily.net quoted Permatang Pauh parliament representative Zainol Saad as saying that all the accusations against Anwar will end when the actor comes forward.

Challenge to public debate on Sabah issues, slanders by DAP and PBS

KOTA KINABALU, April 18, 2013: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee has again challenged his two adversaries DAP Sabah chief Jimmy Wong and its Adviser Dr Hiew King Cheu, to a public debate on pressing issues that affect the state and the people.

And this time, he even included PBS candidate for Kota Kinabalu parliamentary seat, Chin Tek Ming and MCA candidate for Luyang, Datuk Agnes Shim.

Don't be dictated by Malayan parties

KOTA KINABALU, April 18, 2013: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee has accused Pakatan Rakyat (PR) of sabotaging its chances of winning by fielding candidates in constituencies which SAPP is contesting, although PR has little or no influence in these constituencies.

He cited for example, PR is fielding their candidates in such constituencies like Sepanggar, Putatan and Inanam where SAPP candidates are contesting.

PKR to contest 19 federal, 43 state seats in Sabah

PETALING JAYA: Sabah PKR, in collaboration with two state-based NGOs friendly to it, plans to contest for 19 parliament and 43 state seats.
Sabah PKR chief Ahmad Thamrin Jaini told a press conference here today that the group had prepared a list of candidates after gathering feedback from the ground.
PKR chief Anwar Ibrahim had endorsed the list, he said.
He added that DAP and PAS would field candidates in the constituencies not covered by the list.

SAPP unveils candidates list

KOTA KINABALU, April 17, 2013: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Datuk Yong Teck Lee delivered an important message to the people that under the Constitution of Sabah, only a political party with a majority of seats in the Sabah Legislative Assembly shall form the Sabah Government. Unregistered parties and unregistered coalition of parties and NGOs are not qualified under the law to be elected as governments.

Fulfilling our struggle for autonomy, SAPP will contest a majority of State seats so that the Sabah government will be elected by the people of Sabah and answerable only to the people of Sabah.

STAR will be the best platform, says ex-principal

RANAU :  A former secondary school principal from State Reform Party (STAR) is poised to take on veteran Masidi Manjun in Keranaan, Ranau.

Jalibin Paidi, 44, who quit as principal of SMK Entilibon last year is said to have been given the nod as STAR candidate for Keranaan.
STAR Sabah chairman, Jeffrey Kitingan, is scheduled to announce STAR's full list on Thursday (April 18) to coincide with the launching of the party's manifesto in Kota Kinabalu.

KUALA LUMPUR: With nominations just days away, speculations are rife that Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim is engaging Jeffrey Kitingan’s State Reform Party (STAR) in a 11th hour bid to find a solution to what promises to be a crippling election for Pakatan Rakyat if it remains adamant and uncompromising on Sabah seats.

Nomination is set for April 20 and by tomorrow all state Barisan Nasional component parties would have announced their list of candidates.
