Pairin forgets KDMs suffered much under Musa's tenure

By Peter Marajin
KOTA BELUD : The glowing tribute by PBS president, Joseph Pairin Kitingan, to current Chief Minister Musa Aman does not go down well with Sabahans at large, especially the Kadazandusun community who more often than not, marginalised by Musa's UMNO-led government. Either Pairin must have forgotten, or he is just too detached from the reality.

KL has Sabah under siege

The Federal Government, speaking on behalf of all Malaysians, has been harping on the ill treatment by Israel against the people of Palestine for so long. Yes, the Israelists have cordoned off regions in Palestine, such Gaza, making if difficult to bring in food supplies. During the premiership of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt, food and medicine had to be smuggled through Egypt.

But Malaysia is notorious for being hypocritical, making statements at the international level and not realizing that what it is complaining about abroad is happening in Malaysia itself. The former PM, Tun Mahathir was wellknown for bashing the Jews, criticizing racial and religious oppressions in other countries, but in his own country the same things were happening.

Kampungs Bungaliu and Bubuk are the target areas for the project and recent visits by “official” groups complete with police escorts have stirred anxieties again.

Apa Peranan Guru?” (Strengthening the Faith, the Dangers of Liberalism and Pluralism and the Threat of Christianity towards Muslims. Daim: BN only safe in three states in GE13

Description: daim zainuddinFormer finance minister and long-time Umno treasurer Daim Zainuddin - who had predicted the fall of BN in Penang, Selangor and Kedah in the 2008 general election - has looked into his crystal ball again.

The view isn’t exactly rosy for the federal ruling coalition in the next polls, according to an exclusive interview with Daim published today by Chinese daily Nanyang Siang Pau.
Daim said he expects an easy victory for BN only in Johor, Malacca and Pahang.

The key to recapturing Kedah and Selangor from Pakatan Rakyat, he said, would be to find suitable leadership line-ups in those states.

By Dr Jeffrey G. Kitingan

In view of the shocking developments from inevitable results of the sudden oil price hike, I would like to raise several issues with regards to the situation in Petronas which I believe most people are NOT aware of.
