Saving the Rainforest with Just One Click

Malua waterfall
KOTA KINABALU (MALAYSIA): For as little as RM15, you can help protect rainforest in Sabah which is critical for the long-term survival of orang-utans, pygmy elephants, sun bears and other threatened wildlife species.

This amount, equivalent to USD5, saves 50 square metres of forest, about the size of a large garage, or you can contribute RM300 (USD 100) to conserve 1000 square metres (the size of 275 king-sized beds). This all can be done within minutes using a new online tool developed by Malua BioBank, a Sabah-based project restoring and protecting critical wildlife habitat and forest ecosystems.

Anwar exposes how EC conducts 'massive fraud'

The de facto leader of PKR today exposed opposition claims of how the Election Commission (EC) was conducting “massive fraud” in manipulating the voters roll.

NONE“I shall prove it and give a specific example,” assured Anwar Ibrahim (right) at a press conference in parliament lobby.

He then furnished reporters with a printout of an EC voter search to show how a voter with her name and IC numbers already registered in Pulai Johor was  re-registered as a new voter in Pekan, Pahang.

“This is how they do it. If they had entered the same data, the computer will reject it. So they added a slash (/) after the IC numbers in the new registration,” he alleged, holding up the printout.

God's Creations

On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks by. For this, I will give you a life span of 20 years."

The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How about only 10 years and I'll give you back the other 10?" So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a 20-year life span." The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for 20 years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back 10 like the dog did?" And God agreed.

‘Save Sabah, if you want Malaysia’

By Raymond Tombung
Is Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak 'naturally' happy with
Umno-Barisan Nasional in Sabah?
KOTA KINABALU: If Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak is even remotely committed to ensuring Malaysia remains with the Barisan Nasional coalition, then he must immediately restore the rights and autonomy of Sabah.

According to political maverick Dr Jeffrey Kitingan to save Sabah is to save Malaysia.

He said it was pointless talking about the being ‘committed’ to the future if the Borneo state continued to be ignored and sidelined.

STAR: National Security and Sovereignty at Stake

“National security and sovereignty is at stake with the continued and irresponsible issuance of Mykads and citizenships to foreigners in Sabah” stated Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chairman, in reference to the report by Mr. Mansor Santiri, President of Persatuan Bajau Bumiputra  Semporna, pertaining to the concerns by the Semporna Bajaus on the issuance of MyKads to foreigners by the National Registration Department’s mobile registration unit in Semporna.

“I simply cannot understand why our Sabah leaders, who are in the position of power, just stand by doing nothing and continue to allow these backdoor granting of citizenships to foreigners to happen?” lamented Dr. Jeffrey.

Sabah Sarawak Bn Govts Should Scrap Cabotage: Star

“The Sabah and Sarawak State Governments should get the Federal Government to immediately scrap the Cabotage Policy” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, the STAR Sabah Chief in response to the calls by Sabah BN components for the federal government to suspend or review the cabotage policy.

It defies logic that the BN components can only voice their frustrations in the media on the cabotage policy.   If being part of the BN federal government and the BN parties in Sabah and Sarawak are powerless to secure the scrapping of the cabotage policy, there is no further reason for them to remain in the Barisan Nasional.

Bumburing Welcomed to Join STAR Sabah

“Datuk Wilfred Bumburing is welcomed to join STAR Sabah and its struggle to regain the lost State rights which will lead to a better future for Sabah” said Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, the STAR Sabah Chief, to rumours of Bumburing quitting UPKO over unhappiness with Umno/BN’s treatment of Sabah.

“There is no denying that Sabah BN components are completely powerless and their leaders should realize by now that Sabahans have been fooled and cheated for the last 48 years resulting in Sabah losing its autonomy and political power as well as “loss” of its oil revenue and other tax revenues”.
