Don’t Be Childish, Don’t Throw Stones In Own Glasshouse

By Dr Felix Chong
Some DAP Sabah leaders need to stop acting like a spoilt brat and think and act maturely. It is also unadvisable to throw stones in your own glass house.

A local DAP Sabah official appears to want to pick a quarrel, wash dirty linen in public and belittle Sarawakians and the Penans.

I do not intend to stoop to such low levels and embarrass him further added Dr. Felix.

PM and Umno MP Confirms STAR/UBF Stand

By Dr Jeffrey Kitingan
The Prime Minister’s statement on the oil payment while in Sipitang and the concerns voiced by the Kota Belud Member of Parliament on oil payment and development funds proves and re-affirms the stand by UBF and STAR Sabah that representatives of Peninsular parties and Sabah BN components cannot fight for the rights of Sabah.

The PM’s explanation on the increase of oil payment totally missed the point.

What if Sabah and Sarawak did not agree to form Malaysia in 1963 and today Malaysia (or Malaya) is not entitled to the oil revenues from Sabah and Sarawak? What then for Peninsular states’ development funds without the oil revenues from Sabah and Sarawak?

Three type of leader

God summons President Barrack Obama, Chinese Leader Hu Jintao and French President Nicolas Sarkozy to a meeting.

He then tells them that he has decided to end the world in 3 days and orders them to tell their people.

The Proposed 1Care – Does It Really Care?

By Toh Kin Woon
Introduction
Aneurin Bevan (1897-1960), who was the Minister of Health in the United Kingdom immediately after the 2nd World War, once stressed that where medical needs exist, medical care should be provided and budgets should be of secondary importance. Based on this progressive and compassionate principle, he went on to establish Great Britain’s National Health System (NHS), which was then one of the most inclusive, comprehensive and equitable healthcare systems in the world. Unfortunately, Bevan’s stand is not much supported by many policy-makers today, especially after the widespread dissemination of neo-liberalism. The consequences are concern over costs rather than adequate healthcare coverage for the people, especially the poor and marginalized and priority on profits for healthcare providers over good health for the general population, achieved largely through rationing of heath care resources via the ability to pay rather than need.

RCI: Najib ‘cheats’ PBS, Upko

By Luke Rintod of FMT
In a secret meeting last night, Umno warlords in Sabah
convinced Najib Tun Razak that the mostly Muslim
legalised illegals had voted in BN in every
consecutive elections.
KOTA KINABALU: The much-anticipated announcement on the Federal Cabinet agreement to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the large presence of illegal foreigners in Sabah and the rampant issuance of Malaysian documents to them, failed to materialise today.

Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, who was expected to announce the RCI in Lahad Datu, instead cancelled his scheduled press conference after a function in Kampung Nala in Tungku near Lahad Datu and went straight to Tawau where his government executive jet flew him to Kuala Lumpur.

‘Explain, apologise and we will forgive’

Najib Tun Razak must explain his government's
extravagance to Sabahans if he wants to
save himself at the ballot box.
By Luke Rintod of FMT
KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, who begins a two-day visit to Sabah tomorrow, has been slapped with a litany of questions involving his government’s extravagant spending and financial scandals rocking the country.

Challenging Najib to clarify the allegations and speculations of squandered billions and to ‘save’ himself at the ballot box, State Reform Party (Star) Sabah deputy chairman Daniel Jambun said Najib must clear the perceptions that Umno has “no clear conscious” and prove that he is committed to stopping the rot on Sabah coffers.

STAR's Dr Nicholas lashes at UMNO's Youth on Sabah rights

By Gregory Gondua
KENINGAU : Keningau UMNO leader Azman Ruslan's accusation (published in Borneo Post days ago) that State Reform Party (STAR) is playing a blame-game in safeguarding state rights is unbecoming of a Sabahan leader, if one is dignified enough to be called one, said State Reform Party (STAR) dputy chairman for its Sabah chepter, Dr Nicholas James Guntobon.

Dr Guntobon said STAR stands for Sabah state rights and its leaders are proud to admit it. "We don't know what Sabah UMNO stands for as its actions have brought in numerous problems to Sabahans that also has affected the Interior which Azman refused to admit for reasons best known to many," he said in a statement issued here.

Pairin and PBS going against the wishes of Sabahans, says close friend

PENAMPANG : A local veteran activist who was active with the now-defunct UNKO, Fredoline Edwin Lojingki, said he has had enough of increasingly UMNO-leaning Joseph Pairin Kitingan and PBS lately, now lost confidence in Pairin to continue leading, especially the natives.

Lojingki, 71, who claimed to be a close friend of Pairin and many in PBS at one time, alleged that PBS has deviated from its original struggle to safeguard the state and the people especially the Kadazandusun community.
