Nazri Balas Dendam Terhadap Ambiga

“Dia itu bukan sesiapa pun. Tidak ada ‘locus standi’...",
ujar Nazri Aziz.

Was Salleh voicing Musa’s concern?

By Luke Rintod of FMT
Umno Sabah chief Musa Aman is relying on his deputy
Salleh Keruak's strategy to contain rival Shafie Apdal.
Last weekend in Kota Belud, the so-called birth-place of Umno in Sabah, the party’s state deputy president Salleh Said Keruak gave a stinging reminder to possible party-detractors.

He said those who were contemplating ditching Umno if they are not re-nominated in the coming general election, would be ‘ignored’.

Salleh, who is a local boy, issued this warning during a special meeting with a group of Umno’s Kadazandusun leaders from Kadamaian.

Ros Lulus 12 Parti Baru Di Sabah?

KINI heboh diperkatakan mengenai keputusan mendadak Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) melalui Pendaftar Pertubuhan (ROS) berkenaan langkah Putrajaya meluluskan permohonan 12 buah parti baru di Sabah.

RM500 under BR1M chaotic and questionable, says leaders

KENINGAU: The distribution of cashes of RM500 under the BR1M is chaotic in many places including in Keningau due to lack of foresight on the part of its managers, said the deputy chairman of Sabah chapter of State Reform Party (STAR), Dr Nicholas James Guntobon.

"Not only the local banks are crowded and chaotic, some have come to us complaining their names were suddenly missing from the list of recipients," said Guntobon describing the distribution was carried without good planning as to ensure safety of recipients, some of whom were elderly folk.

TONGOD : The newly-launched Sabah Chapter of State Reform Party (STAR) is received well by the Kuamut folks and it signaled a shift in political equation not only in the constituency but other areas in Sabah as well, said its Kuamut Co-ordinator, James Ait.

This was evident by their enthusiasm to form "branches" of the party which is called "Kampung Co-ordinating Committee" or Jawatankuasa Penyelaras Peringkat Kampung in Malay, with a minimum members of 30.

Will Lajim’s exit hurt Musa?

By Luke Rintod of FMT
Rumours are that Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has asked
Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman to step down after the
13th general election.
Sabah’s 25 parliamentary and 60 state seats have remained Umno’s ‘most trusted fixed deposit”. In the 13th general election, with uncertainty looming over peninsular politics, Sabah must be won and local Umno ‘warlords’ cannot be simply dismissed because ‘their too old”.

A case in point is Lajim Ukin, an influential warlord or ‘strongman’ as some call him from Beuafort. He’s a humble man and well liked in his constituency and unfortunately for some factions a ‘winnable’ candidate.
