UMNO and Population Engineering

 By Hussein Abd Hamid

Since 1957 UMNO has effectively carried out the population engineering of our country to ensure its long-term survival by creating the myth of a two pronged “Ketuanan Melayu”. “Ketuanan Melayu” for the Malay masses who are lull into a feeling of being superior over the non-Malays because of their numbers and “Ketuanan Melayu” for the UMNO Malay political elites through the accumulation of massive material wealth for themselves and their cronies. And while UMNO has failed by almost any measure you chose to gauge them – good governance or morality – without question they have succeeded too well in the engineering of the population of this country of ours.

AS CORRECTLY reported in Sunday's newspapers, the publication on my left was the Hansard (records of the Legislative Assembly sittings) with the Sabah State crest on its cover. The book on my right was the 1996 publication by Tan Sri Harris; no doubt the photo of Tan Sri Harris could be from his Chief Minister days. But the 1996 book was nevertheless, published in the name of Tan Sri Harris with his signature on it.

There are altogether 15 oil wells in the Sabah and the produce from these oil wells all belonging to Sabah. The total extraction of oil from the 15 Sabah oil wells is as much as 192,000 barrels per day.

This was a question recently raised by the Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament Hiew King Cheu in Parliament. The answer given by the Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak is very important to the Sabahan who like to know how much crude oil is being produced in Sabah, and by how many barrels per day.

Yong: Political lies taken as complete truths

By Datuk Yong Teck Lee

"In the past, I did not bother about political lies spread about me like the Saham Amanah Sabah (SAS issue, the approvals of the 65,000 acres Begaraya land in Pitas and the Tanjong Aru Government Quarters land to private companies. In the internet and coffee shops, lies were spread against me for so long that the lies were taken as complete truths. But as wisdom goes, real gold is not afraid of fire and paper cannot cover fire.
