More international condemnation pours in for Taib Mahmud
The UK’s most respected and established Environmental magazine, The Ecologist, has this week turned its attention to Chief Minister, Abdul Taib Mahmud, with a major investigative article about his record in Sarawak.
In a devastating analysis it outlines Taib’s corruption and his lies about what has happened to the Borneo jungle and its people. Even more significantly, on the eve of the MoCS Red March, it writes about a discernible change in the mood in Sarawak and speaks of real hope of change. This is not least because Taib’s decades of self-interested destruction and plunder have been well and truly exposed.

The Truth Behind JAIS Raid on Church gathering
The real story behind the raid on the DUMC church by JAIS & the police actually has very little to do with attempts to convert Muslims to Christianity. It has everything to do with Bersih 2.0
Apparently, pastor Daniel Ho hosted Dato Ambiga Sreenevasan & members of the Bersih 2.0 committee in DUMC sometime last week. The police & the Special Branch were outside the church recording everything.
Ambiga & her Bersih committee members are under constant surveillance by Bukit Aman ever since the Bersih rally.

Sarawak’s ‘Red Rally’ earns Bersih support
By Keruah Usit
The ‘Red Rally’ for democratic reforms in Sarawak on Saturday has won the support of election reform coalition Bersih 2.0 and has drawn – predictably enough – police scrutiny.
Bersih 2.0 had invited two leading ‘Red Rally’ organisers from the Movement for Change Sarawak (MoCS) – leader Francis Siah and Kuala Lumpur co-ordinator Ronald Sia – to its steering committee meeting last Thursday.

A note from Antwerp: On the London riots spreading to the continent
By Cedric Daanvey
ANTWERP, Belgium: One thing that bothers us all here now, is the extreme violence the UK is experiencing.
Some say it may spread to the continent as well, as in my town 10 cars were set on fire in the past few days.

Conversion to Islam: The One-way Street in Marriage
In marriages between Muslims and non-Muslims, conversion of the non-Muslim partner to Islam is a must, failing of which may lead to tragic consequences, from beheading to burning alive even in Hindu India (see below).
It has been mentioned in the previous article that in every occasion a Hindu or a non-Muslim girl becomes a victim of Muslim love-trap, she has to convert to Islam. Starting from Indira Gandhi to Sabra Bugum and Samira Begum, all had to convert to Islam before marrying their Muslim lovers. We may add two more names to the list.
The Price of Loyalty
The accusation that Datuk Samad (The then Deputy Home Affairs Minister had signed was followed on the same document by "Allegation of Facts" which still seems to me a contradiction in terms which said :
"That you Dato James Wong Kim Min, during a meeting with the agent of a foreign power in May 1974, agreed to received the aid of that foreign power to enable you to discredit (Which you did) the existing government of Sarawak and to replace it with a government formed by you and you also agreed that the government so formed by you would arrange for the cession of Limbang to that foreign power and you further agreed with the said agent of the foreign power to received assistance from that foreign power to accomplish the aforesaid purposes"
