‘Sabah has immigration powers’

The state BN government can act on its own to deal
with immigration issue, says former PKR vice-president
Jeffrey Kitingan.
KOTA KINABALU: Borneo rights activist Jeffrey Kitingan believes that Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) partner, Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), is barking up the wrong tree by asking the federal government to grant immigration powers to the state.

He said the state already has immigration powers and all it needed to do was to enforce them to solve the problem of illegal immigrants.

STRESS RELIEF. Is salt bad for hypertensives?

What is bad for hypertension is iodized salt, which is a fake salt.  It is made up of only 3 synthetic chemicals, sodium, chloride, iodine. It does not melt in water (glistens like diamonds), does NOT melt in the body, does not melt in the kidneys, gives kidney stones, and raises blood pressure. However, it is the salt favored by the synthetic drug-based doctors who say it is very clean and sanitary, pointing to how white it is and how it glistens like   diamonds. The fake salt is man-made in a factory.

DAP to contest all seats?

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) urged the Sabah DAP green horns not to be too arrogant and overestimating themselves to the extent thinking their party alone can win all the seats in Sabah in the coming General Election, its KK/Penampang Zone Committee Member, Foo Si Chin.

Foo said undoubtedly SAPP was 'woken up' even before the Batu Sapi Parliamentary by-election, especially when the then Sabah DAP Chief Dr Hiew King Cheu described the consensus reached between Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) top leaders and SAPP not to attack each other but BN during the campaign period, as mere "coffee shop talk".

‘Sabah BN will fall’ over illegal immigrant issue

KOTA KINABALU: The recent murder of a by-stander, during a robbery by an illegal immigrant in Sabah, has thrown into sharp focus the giant in the room – the massive presence of illegal immigrants in the state.

In its strongest protest so far, a loyal Barisan Nasional ally said that the continued blatant disregard for the rule of law where foreigners were allowed to roam the streets with impunity would spell doom for Sabah’s ruling coalition.

The myths of Sarawak polls results

The dust has begun to settle on the 10th Sarawak polls with the BN touting its retention of the two-thirds majority as a victory, while Pakatan Rakyat points to the more than doubling of its seats. This was the most competitive state election in Sarawak's history and was hard fought by both sides.

BN, led by Prime Minister Najib Razak essentially camped in the state for 10 days to assure the two-thirds, while the opposition also focused is national machinery in Sarawak, bringing in the top guns from Peninsular Malaysia and thousands of party workers.

YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

Sir,

Oh dear! Sir, what's happening? Two of Malaysia's foremost bishops are fuming mad at you. This is unprecedented. Not fair lah, Sir, you have to inherit the problem from your ex-boss who caused the problem when he banned the Alkitab or Malay Bible 31 years ago.
