Gaji Posmen menjadi kayu ukur

Three-corner in Batu Sapi, Sabah... straight fight in Galas, Kelantan...

By Ezra Haganez
SANDAKAN: It is a three-cornered tussle for the Parliamentary seat of Batu Sapi here. No independent candidates came to lodge nomination though many individuals took the papers from SPR earlier.

Ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) is trying to retain the seat through Linda Tsen, the widow of Batu Sapi late MP, Chong Ket Wah, of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).

Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Yong Teck Lee, successfully lodged his paper, marking the end of his suspension from contesting an election by the High Court years back stemming from an election petition brought against him.

The third candidate is Ansari Abdullah representing  Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).

Polling day has been set on November 4, 2010, the same polling date with the Galas state seat in Gua Musang, Kelantan.

Galas sees a straight fight between BN and PAS.

Slightly more than 1,000 supporters turned up at the Sandakan Community Hall from 9am till noon today. Among those in the crowd were DPM Muhyiddin Yassin, PKR President Dr Wan Azizah Ismail, CM Musa Aman, Joseph Pairin Kitingan, and Hishammuddin Hussein.

No untoward incidence happened today though at times the three camps of supporters outside the hall were very boisterous with their battle cries.

By G. Patrick
Recently, I had the privilege to visit the Lost World of  Sabah, Maliau Basin… This trip involves sixteen of Sabahan nature lovers. We departed from Kota Kinabalu town on 15 October and returned by 18 October 2010. The cumulative cost for the trip was RM 4,640 which was shared equally among us. And this wasn’t including our personal expenses for the trip.

We departed from Kota Kinabalu at 0930 hours. Three four-wheel drive vehicles were involved to accommodate the 16 of us. Our route crossed Tambunan, Keningau, Sook, Nabawan and Sapulut.

MALAYSIANS.... WWWWake upppp PLEASEEEEE

DO YOU REALLY CARE ENOUGH ????
RM456 billion lost !!
Voters, wake up!!
UMNO is the culprit...not the 'Malay' please BEAR in mind it's entirely different... don't confuse UMNO with Malay.

The report below states that the oil money that disappeared as follows:
Tun Hussein Onn period: RM33B.
Tun Mahathir period: RM165.00B.
Tun Pak Lah period: RM256.00B.
Soon-to-be Tun NR period: RM……B?

Why GST?
All Malaysian should take sometime to read this:
Where has All of Malaysia’s RM456 billion Oil Money Gone to... to UMNO Putra cronies?
Where Has All of Malaysia’s Oil Money Gone To?
Has anybody ever stopped to think and question this very important question?
I wrote a Bahasa Malaysia version on this issue.  And I received a comment in English that touches the heart and soul of this topic:

What bloody hypocrites!!

The Halal Hype that is going on in our country will force many SMIs involved in food production and distribution to close shop. JAKIM has muscled its way to make itself the Monopoly of the Halal certificate.
In April 2011 the Halal Act will be passed by Parliament where only Jakim has the monopoly to issue the certificate.  Each certificate cost about RM1000 and with 2000 line items in my company I will have to foot out RM2,000,000 and that is if I am lucky to get all those approved. I might as well close down my business and retrench all the 60 staff with some 100 odd dependents.

The Government will be deprived of some RM800,000 worth of taxes and duties. The Food standard will
definitely decline as chefs will have less ingredients to work with. The Halal procedures will increase the food cost by 10%. JAKIM does not care for the economy of the country. All it cares for is its rice bowl to ensure that it is relevant and seen to be working hard. Look at the way it closed down IKEA for two weeks. Look at the way it closed down Silverbird in Nilai. It does not care for the business  environment in this country.

Prayers for Non-Muslims: Harussani Shows His Great Ignorance

Publlished in Malaysia Today, 22/8/10
Harussani Zakaria, the infamous mufti of Perak, seems to be on a roll these days. It’s not been a month since he gave out the now retracted opinion on football jerseys, claiming that crosses and devils on them were haram. The response to that showed that the Malays are not so easy to control after all. I guess the Malays do have a threshold of how much of Harussani they can take. Today, Harussani displayed not only his mean spiritedness but an utter ignorance for the spirit of Islam. It is almost like he completely undermines what Islam stands for.

It all began with the accusations in Penang about how during a Friday prayer sermon, Lim Guan Eng’s name was mentioned instead of the King. Of course the emotions of those with nothing better to do ran high. Oh my God, how can we possibly mention the name of this non-Muslim who is certainly condemned to hell while we the chosen people get a first class ticket to heaven, right?!

Stay tuned, his story and pics to follow up soon...

1Malay or 1Malaysia

Malay, Chinese and Indian are all Malaysian brothers and sisters.
But BN has screwed Malaysians and Malaysia up.
Malay 1st…. Malaysian 2nd

When a Malay, Chinese and Indian, all Malaysians, apply for:-
1)      Scholarships, Malays will get it first irrespective of bright Malaysians
2)      Entry to the local universities and bestcourses such medicine, dentistry, law, Malays will get it first irrespective of quality.      Residential hostels, Matriculation courses, MARA Uni, Malays will get 90% to 100%. (By the way, matriculation exams are internally set      by own lecturers - about thousands of straight A’s students in Matriculation compared to the straight A’s STPM which are few. This is “Malay meritocracy vs Malaysian meritocracy”!
3)   Social Welfare, Malays will get it first irrespective of how poor the Malaysian rakyat is
