Is Idris Jala a liability for Najib?

The Malaysian Insider
SEPT 30 — Perhaps we should not mention that Datuk Seri Idris Jala’s children study at Garden International School, where the language of instruction is English.

Perhaps we should not mention that Jala’s Economic Transformation Plan (ETP) unveiled with great fanfare includes the construction of 1 Malaysia malls in China and Vietnam. It is not clear how these malls would transform Malaysia.

Inaction on racism: Cabinet slammed for impotence, irrelevance

Malaysia Chronicle

DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang has accused Malaysia’s federal Cabinet of being “impotent and irrelevant” for failing to take action against two school principals accused of hurling racial slurs at their non-Malay pupils and the deputy director of the National Civics Bureau who allegedly called Chinese “slit-eyes” and Indians “drunkards”.

“All Malaysians await the outcome of Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting – whether there is going to be more procrastination and “tai chi” over the gross indiscipline of the two errant school principals and the BTN deputy director in openly flouting Prime Minister Najib’s 1Malaysia concept,” Kit Siang said in a statement.

“I am waiting for the outcome of the Cabinet tomorrow to decide whether to move an emergency motion in Parliament on Monday to demand an urgent debate on these two issues.”

No way ETP will boost income by five times, says DAP

By Joseph Tawie
KUCHING: The federal government's Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) which aims to increase the income of people by five times by 2030 is akin to “building castles in the air”.“Based on our statistics, our gross national income (GNI) per capita is RM23,000 per year.

This means that the average income of every single Malaysian is RM23,000 per year, that is, RM2,000 per month,” said Chong Chieng Jen, Sarawak DAP secretary.

Malaysia and Islamophobia : Pot calling the kettle black

By The Scribe
The BN/Umno Regime of Najib Razak wants to send experts to the United States to 'lecture' the Americans about Islam. The Malaysian Government feels that this can dispel Islamophobia which is said to be widespread in the US.

However, The Scribe is of the opinion that before Malaysia can go to the US to dispel Islamophobia, the BN/Umno Regime needs to do the following.

1. Declare that Malaysia is NOT and will NEVER be an Islamic State.

2. Islam and other Religions are on a level playing field in Malaysia.

An Open And Shut Case By Mariam Mokhtar

During the Raya celebrations at his home in Pekan, the Prime Minister, Najib Abdul Razak, encouraged us to hold open houses and receive guests irrespective of race and religion to foster national unity based on '1Malaysia'. He said that an open house would be more meaningful if “we also open our hearts to our guests”.

The PM should also include an open mind. A willingness to listen to other people's opinions should promote greater understanding and harmony.

If only Najib was aware of the level of intolerance some Malays have for non-Malays and non-Muslims. I don't expect him to know what happens at the ground level and I doubt if his advisers and close associates tell him the truth.

A Hari Raya Message For Taib Mahmud of Sarawak!!

Time flies fast. I sent a Raya message last year to you. It’s Raya again. You well?
It is a little malu to see a great man hanging in the air like a monkey – can’t go up (to become Governor) and can’t come down (to enjoy your the rakyat's money).

For the remaining days on earth, you should follow this wise advice, Taib!

1. Pray 20 times a day, 5 to do your duty as a good Muslim, 15 times as repentance to pay for the sins you have committed and all the wrongs and bad deeds you did in the past 30 years to the people of Sarawak . This is your first step to your eternal redemption.

A Pastor's son - A Great Story

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.
This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring rain.

PKR, DAP, Enough Is Enough, Fight All You Want & Let The Third Force Arises !

PENANG: To Pakatan Rakyat leaders and elected representatives, please read through my blog postings and see how much I wanted change for Malaysia, relying on your promises and great efforts in wanting to march to Putra Jaya.

Political parties are trying to reach out to the fence sitters but PR is driving supporters to become fence sitters, how irony. I am almost up to my neck to become a graduated fence sitter even though I am a card carrying life member of DAP.
