PENAMPANG: Something is not right with Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), if the party's elections is of any barometer.
A veteran leader of the now-defunct UNKO, Fred Edwin Lojingki, 69, said the chaotic and sometimes violent nature of the PKR on-going polls in Sabah as well as in Semenanjung is a manifestation of bad political culture being promoted in the party.
"In my very long years in politics since the 1960's until now, both as activist and observer, i have never seen something like this where party election was so marred with violence, tampered with underhand tactics, being run under chaotic management.

JERUSALEM: Today let us break this all-politics and world's current affairs reporting by pondering on the life of a greatest Man ever alive, JESUS...
Jesus was to live in Nazareth until He was about thirty years old, and this is why, although He was born in Bethlehem, He is often known as Jesus of Nazareth. The Bible tells us that He “increased in wisdom and stature; and in favor with God and man.” In other words, He grew not only in height but also in wisdom, knowledge and learning with God’s blessing; the people loved him and respected Him.
Bahrain tycoon says Bumi policy can scare away investors
By Yow Hong Chieh
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 — Malaysia risks scaring away foreign investors if it insists on pursuing Bumiputera affirmative action policies, a top official of a major Bahrain conglomerate said today.
“There is one thing Malaysia has to be careful of. You have a ‘delightful’ law here... where you give the local population certain seats or certain preference or certain licences,” Kanoo Group deputy chairman Mishal Hamed Kanoo told reporters at the “Dawn of the New Decade: Alternative Investments in Asia” forum here today.
“If you do that and foreign investors want to come in — they’re not used to this idea — you might scare them.”
Najib, clean up Islamophobia in M'sia first
By P. Waytha Moorthy
LONDON: Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak should look into his own backyard at how the minority Malaysian Indians and the non-Malays suffer from Islamophobia through BTN, Jakim, Rela, the judiciary, Perkasa and practically every organ of the government institution against the minorities in Malaysia.

Coerced sharia law onto non-Muslims, forceful conversion, statelessness, body-snatching, direct insults similar to the cow head incident that prevails through state-sponsored institutions in Malaysia are classic examples of Islamophobia that affect the tenet of human rights in Malaysia for minorities that needs to be rectified and curtailed before Najib goes to the US to preach how to assist the Barack Obama on Islamophobia.
Obama Defends His Faith, Says He Became Christian By Choice
New Mexico: President Barack Obama defended his faith at a political function in New Mexico on Tuesday as critics continue to question his religion.
"I am a Christian by choice," Obama responded to an attendee in the audience who asked why he followed the faith.
The event was part of a four-state tour meant to rally Democrats ahead of the midterm elections, but with polls showing that a significant number of Americans believe the president is Muslim, Obama decided to set the record straight.

Jokes for the day: Touring
Groups of Americans were traveling by tour bus through Holland . As they stopped at a cheese farm, a young guide led them through the process of cheese making, explaining that goat's milk was used. She showed the group a lovely hillside where many goats were grazing. 'These' she explained, 'Are the older goats put out to pasture when they no longer produce.' She then asked, 'What do you do in America with your old goats? A spry old gentleman answered, 'They send us on bus tours!j
Riches to rags: Umno has ruined Sabah
By Queville To
BEAUFORT: Former state finance minister Mohd Noor Mansoor has lashed out at Umno for impoverishing Sabah after it spread its wings to the state.
In a strongly worded speech in the pro-Barisan Nasional hinterlands, the former Berjaya Party leader accused the peninsula-based party of mismanaging a once rich state to one of the poorest in the country.
Speaking to a large gathering during the annual general meeting of six Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) committees, he warned that Umno was introducing communal politics into the state to ensure its grip through a divide and rule policy.
