Patrick Sindu urging voters in Kota Belud parliamentary area to vote for Kanul Gindol |
PAPAR : As a veteran activist in Malaysia, I felt called to support fellow consumer and political activist, Kanul Gindol, who as an independent candidate is seeking to be elected Kota Belud member of parliament this Sunday polling.
I for one as an activist fully support what Kanul has been trying to do all these years, getting himself into Malaysian Parliament. We now have a chance to send him into Parliament via the Kota Belud seat.
I have known Kanul for many years and he would make the best parliamentarian not only for all Sabahans but Sarawakians too, and on top of that as a fearless mouthpiece for non-governmenatl organisations (NGO) and the marginalised.
Please give Kanul a chance as an NGO parliamentarian, to talk about the difficulties we face in Sabah, and especially us who happen to be Christians who for all these years have been suffering and humiliated by a rotten regime who seek to perpetuate suppression of freedom for Christian religions and lower the representation of Christians in both parliament and state assemblies .I for one as an activist fully support what Kanul has been trying to do all these years, getting himself into Malaysian Parliament.
As an independent parliamentarian, Kanul would make the best lawmaker and he would be at liberty to speak up against bad policies and even bad parties or fellow parliamentarians who unashamedly seek to burn others' holy scriptures.
Those in political parties would not be able to do so as they are governed by their own respective parties' rules and policies, and that being in a political party the parliamentarian could not simply talk except to toe the party line.
I am very proud of my dear friend Kanul, who not only as a mind-opening journalist, but he had also already been around the world, especially in Europe's capitals, speaking for us and seeking ways to end this shackles of a chocking regime that had rendered Sabah the poorest and the most marginalised.
Kanul, who uses "key" as his symbol for this election, is a key to our destiny of our survival.
Besides Kota Belud, i am urging Sabahan voters in all other constituencies to please vote for Pakatan Rakyat candidates.
ReplyDeleteRupanya Kanul Gindol ini ada sisik tapuk ah sudah pula pergi ke European capitals to speak up for Borneo's cause.. Bravo Kanul.. You have three votes from my family. Assured.

Will vote you brader, Six votes from us !
ReplyDeleteMy dad and mom and sister voting for you brother. Three from us. There could be more, amen.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteTwo votes from us. Opps six from us Kanul ! Go go for it gundohing..!
YOU HAVE MY VOTE BECAUSE YOU STAND FOR SABAH SELF-DETERMINATION!
ReplyDeleteWithout real self determination as a country and people we are just colonial subjects of Malaya!
We have had 50 years of Malayan domination and marginalisation through UMNO apartheid NEP policies when with all our country's wealth we should have long since enjoyed a better life than before 1963.
But no, life has not been better before 1963!
It is nonsense for UMNO to praise itself about "security and prosperity" when it deliberately re-engineered our population and power structures with its human wave foreign illegals invasions and then totally failed to prevent the Lahad Datu debacle and reduced Sabah to be the poorest of the 13 Malayan states!
It is worthwhile to repeat Dr. J.Kitingan's recent statement here:
Jeffrey said “this election is about choosing to regain Sabah’s rights and dignity as an independent sovereign nation within the Federation or continuing to allow Kuala Lumpur and Malaya to rule and exploit Sabah as a mere colony and as the 12th state of Malaya.”
The people of Sabah must decide what they want – continued exploitation and poverty and dependency; continued insecurity posed by “Project IC” illegal immigrants; loss of state resources; disenfranchisement of Natives; powerlessness of local leaders or empowerment of Sabah with the restoration of State rights and autonomy as an equal partner in the Federation, equal only to Malaya and Sarawak.”
He added, “neither BN, controlled and dictated by Umno, nor PR (controlled by PKR) have any desire to let go of Sabah or respect its autonomy because Sabah is their cash cow, their economic lifeline. Their agenda is the “Malayan Agenda” including the Malayan security and political agenda agenda and our current Sabah leaders are mere pawns for this Agenda.
So Sabahans on May 5 2013 we all have to decide with one vote in our power to cast it in favour of Sabahans who are courageously fighting to save Sabah from another 50 years of foreign rule.
VOTE TO SAVE SABAH!
ReplyDeleteLima undi dari keluarga saya untk mu wahai Tindarama kami.. Syukurlah datuk Patrick Sindu pun sokong Kanul orang Kelawat ..
Soli kanul, you should have joined STAR;the likelihood of you being a candidate for STAR would have been achieved. You are only scattering the votes for opposition party STAR in favour of UMNO,but your scheme is going to be fruitless;you will lose your deposit.Only 67 votes for you.
DeleteSiow too to kanul...you should hv joined STAR, my vote is not for you, you are a big dissapointment...
Nafsu mereka besar, tapi tenaga tak kuat manapun.

BREAKING NEWS
ReplyDeleteMAHATHIR FLEES MALAYA!
Malaysiakini reports Mahathir may have fled the country.
9am: Permatang Pauh, Penang -
ANWAR IBRAHIM: Referring to a rumour that Dr Mahathir Mohamad has gone abroad, Anwar says he was told this as well.
“I wish him well (with) whatever medical treatment he is seeking,” he says.
Up to last night, Mahathir had been seen campaigning in Kedah.
8.45am: Jerlun, Kedah – Mukhriz Mahathir and his wife arrive at the Siputeh primary school to vote, joining about 806 others.
Met by reporters after voting, he seemed bullish about about his chances of win the Ayer Hitam state seat for BN.
“God willing, every move we make must be confident. But don’t overdo it. My confidence stems from my realisation that I must do the best I can to garner God’s blessings.
“That is where my confidence comes from. The rest I leave to God,” he says.
Asked to comment if reports that he will be named Kedah menteri besar if BN wins the state will backfire on him, Mukhriz says he does not feel the announcement will effect him negatively.”
Comment….. This family has US$44 Billion stolen from Sarawak and Sabah. They are richer than the Taib family. Both stole form Sarawak and Sabah.

ReplyDeleteThree votes from us to Mr Kanul Gindol.
He was referring to several major projects to be implemented over the next few years which would benefit or involve the district which includes the Tamparuli sub-district and Kiulu state constituency.
ReplyDeleteAmong the mammoth projects which together would total hundreds of millions of ringgit would be two new trunk roads linking Tuaran and Kudat via a coastal highway and the Telipok-Kiulu-Ranau by-pass.
ReplyDeleteOthers include the Tuaran District Sports Complex which would serve as a satellite sports facility for Kota Kinabalu and 1,000 houses for civil servants, both at Laya-Laya which would be turned into a new township.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Hajiji who is also Sabah BN and Umno treasurer, also said that the Umno Tuaran divisional meeting chaired by him yesterday had unanimously approved a motion urging that the posts of president and deputy president to be uncontested in the coming party polls.
ReplyDeleteKejayaan BN adalah atas sokongan daripada rakyat. Maka jangan sia-sia kan kepercayaan rakyat.
