KOTA KINABALU : The PR/BN chapters in Sabah and
S'wak should be invited to join UBA on condition that these said
chapters will achieve autonomy, if they don't already have, as soon as
possible.
To avoid the Sapp kind of about-turns, those signing up with UBA should
take a Public Pledge and sign a Memorandum of Understanding with all UBA
members.
If the PR/BN chapters concerned do not achieve autonomy within a
reasonable period of time, their membership in UBA should be suspended
until it's practical to lift it.
Suspension would mean the said PR/BN chapters would only enjoy observer status when UBA meets.
Should the said PR/BN chapters in Sabah and S'wak refuse to sign up with
UBA, the matter should be brought before the people directly and
indirectly through the Court of Public Opinion.
UBA should remain an ad hoc NGO movement working across the political divide in Malaysia towards a 3rd Force in Parliament.
The following elements comprise the 3rd Force in Parliament: Sabah,
S'wak and the following elements in Peninsular M'sia -- Orang Asli,
Christians, other minorities, fence-sitters (i.e. neither for BN or PR)
and the 67 parliamentary seats in Peninsular M'sia where Indians decide.
Some people who read this will start jumping up and down.

DeleteINDEPENDENCE NOT AUTONOMY!
DeleteDON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS LINE WHICH THE MALAYANS ARE SECRETLY & OPENLY PROMOTING
They are happy to give us nominal autonomy and we have this on paper already.
49 years is enough proof that the Malayans will just ignore our rights.
Furthermore, autonomy will only continue the plunder of our rich resources to develop Malaya and enrich UMNO & cronies at our expense!
Why continue to be stooges?
Does it may sense when we should be demanding de-colonization?
If we are diverted to working for autonomy the Malayan will achieve their intention to delay the Sabah Sarawak independence demands and to keep them as colonies. Seen in this light the third force is a diversion and a con.
We have been conned into Malaysia and not they want to con us to stay!
Certain leader wont want to share the big cakes with anyone, especially with his adversaries..
ReplyDeletethose are greedy and opportunist leaders...
DeleteJeff again?
DeleteJeffery Kitingan sendiri pun sudah mengambaikan UBA, buat apa minta parti lain untuk ikut?
ReplyDeleteUBA sudah tiada cerita ni...sekejap saja terus tenggelam..
DeleteItulah kalau namanya gimik.. Kejap ja lepas tu takda sudah khabar angin.
DeleteThat is sooo Jeff to leave something behind once he found something better.
DeleteHe's doubtful now. Shame on him. He shouldn't asked so if he's confident.
DeleteMacam mana nak pandang kalau orang kuatnya sendiri pun macam sukar utk dipercayai.
DeleteJeffrey should not start another political party, he should just focus on fighting for the UBA agenda.
DeleteIt's possible too.
Sendiri pun susah bekerjasama, inikan lagi nak bersatu tolong rakyat. huhuhu
DeleteThe opposition doesn't stand a chance in winning the election.
DeleteStar, SAPP and PKR are still bickering among themselves like a couple of three year olds, can't believe they planned to form a government with such childish mindset.
DeleteNot siding to any sides but BN still have the big potential to win because Sabah's oppositions themselves are not strong enough to bring down BN.
DeleteThe oppositions are having too much of free time. UBA should do more charity works.
Deletejika tk brsatu bagaimana nk jalin kerjasama?
DeleteBN tetap menjadi pilihan utama rakyat.
DeletePolitic is a game. Must know how to play and have strategies if want to remain in the game.
ReplyDeleteWhatever the suggestion, this will never happen.
ReplyDeleteCertainly some people will be favoured out of this.
ReplyDeleteI suppose the people have their rights to make choices.
ReplyDeleteya, setiap orang ada pilihan mereka sendiri.
DeleteI can see anything is possible in politics.
ReplyDeleteIs there need to start up a new party?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see people's reaction to this in action.
ReplyDeleteAll leaders and members of Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties need to uphold the “1BN” principle if they want to win all the 31 parliamentary seats to be contested in the coming 13th general election.
ReplyDeleteSarawak BN secretary-general Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi Utom said they should learn from past experience including the loss of a few seats to the opposition in the state elections last year due to the lack of the 1BN spirit and some internal factors within the component parties.
ReplyDeleteIn the opinion of Datuk Dr Stephen, the opposition is not strong in Sarawak but he acknowledged that there are short comings within the Sarawak BN component such as internal problems and overconfidence due to their previous success which must be overcomed in order to achieve total victory in the coming election. He highlighted this in his address to BN Youth members who will be organising a convoy to fly the Jalur Gemilang.
ReplyDeleteRundi, who is also Public Utilities Assistant Minister, said BN had the edge in giving confidence to the people, particularly the fence-sitters, based on the performance of the opposition in states they ruled or seats under them.
ReplyDeleteHe said if BN component party members could move as a team and take the “touch one, touch all” approach, then the issue of outside parties claiming to be BN-friendly would not arise.
ReplyDeleteOf the 31 parliamentary seats in Sarawak, only two seats, Bandar Kuching and Sibu, are held by the opposition.
ReplyDeleteIn the last general election, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) was allocated 14 seats, Parti Rakyat Bersatu Sarawak (SUPP) seven, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) six and Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) four.
