Huge crowd expected at STAR's joint launch of KK, Penampang and Putatan

PENAMPANG : A huge crowd is expected to attend the joint-launching of three new divisions of the State Reform Party (STAR) to be held at the popular Hongkod Koisaan here on April 21st.

The launch will take off at 9.30am at the Hongkod Koisaan’s Cultural Village which is located on the compound of KDCA headquarters.

Organising Chairman, Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari, who is also STAR’s state deputy chairman said in a statement that the launching will be special because it will be a combined of Penampang, Kota Kinabalu and Putatan divisions

“STAR’s membership of the area has been increasing tremendously since the party’s launch in January this year, and with this sizable support base we expect a exceptionally huge turnout,” Awang Ahmad Sah said.

“The occasion will also be with a sizable contingent of USNO supporters especially from around the West Coast because USNO’s President Datu Badaruddin Tun Mustapha will also be in attendance.

“The main item of the launching will be a speech by STAR Sabah Chairman, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, in which we expect him to make an important announcement,” he said.

He said all supporters and members of the public who wish to hear STAR’s message are cordially invited to attend.
