Malaysian Murali and wife Guzal (Uzbek) disappears into thin air. No action taken even after six police reports were made. Are underworld and police involved?

Murali who has a fish pond and a antic car dealer was married to Guzal from Uzbekistan for more then six years and have two children, Shanthi age 5, and Tamilchelvi, age 3.  

Guzal who is in MLM does her business around Bukit Bintang. While doing her MLM business she meet a lady from Uzbekistan who said that she was tricked into coming here and forced to work as prostitute. Guzal helped the girl and took her to the Uzbekistan Embassy, and later she returned to Uzbekistan. 

A lady named Shalo @ Julian, a Tajik who runs a salon at Bukit Bintang was not happy with Guzal for helping the girl to runaway and Shalo suspects Guzal and her husband Murali informed the police that her salon has drugs. Shalo called Guzal many times and threatened to kill Guzal and her family. Fearing the Shalo’s threats against her and her family, Guzal made a police report on 14/3/2010 at Jalan Bandar Police station. Four days later she made another police report that she is in danger and she wants police to take action.

Hard to believe that in this present days and time....this can still happen in Malaysia...Black Sheep must be curled to protect the rest of the good men in the force.

For being frank with the police, 34-year-old Chia Buang Hing was detained for five days and beaten up until he vomited blood.

The businessman, who is frame-maker, narrated the "horrific" incident today, saying that the police bashed him up, threatened and robbed him of RM13,000 in cash he was carrying - all for the expired road tax of his wife's car that he was driving. 

Chia's nightmare began about 11pm on Dec 18, as he was driving from his house in Tropicana to Kota Damansara, where traffic police had set up roadblocks. 

Having spotted the expired road tax, one of the police officers asked for his driver's licence and identification card. 

It was then, he said, that the officer spotted stacks of RM50 notes, totalling RM7,000, sticking out of his pocket and demanded that he hand them over.

Dewan Speech delivered on 4.11.2010 touching on CM's family's wealth and Sarawak Report

Attending DUN is always considered one of a vital duty for me as a people’s representative. This is the time when I would forward the grievances of the people to the Government. It has always been a challenge for us few in the Opposition to tell the unfair policies, point out the wrongs of the government and to ask for the people’s needs as we are the minority.

When I read out my text of speech in the Dewan last Thursday i.e. 4.11.2010, it was not smooth sailing. I was interrupted many times by the Speaker, Bawang Assan ADUN Wong Soon Koh and Pelagus ADUN Larry S’ng in particular when I touched on the nerves’ issues on the wealth of Chief Minister’s family members. But I told myself, the truth has to be told for the people’s sake.

I have the feeling that the BN state government is so scared that the truth be known to the people, the Hansard for my speech recorded on 4.11.2010 is still not furnished to all members until today.

Below is my text of speech I read in the Dewan on Thursday and the occasion interruption which I wanted to share with all Sarawakians.

I have to bring to your attention the seriousness of the grabbing of land in Sarawak by you-all-know-who.

Don't rely on peninsular leaders to fight for Sabah, Sarawak

KOTA BELUD: A prominent local lawyer here has urged Sabahans and Sarawakians not to rely on peninsular leaders to fight for their rights.

"Sabahans and Sarawakians should regroup in their respective state-based political parties and ally themselves to whichever groups that accommodate their demands," said Peter Marajin, who stood as an independent candidate in the 2008 election and garnered over 1,700 votes.

"We in Sabah and Sarawak should not rely on them to support our wishes and demands even if those are our state rights.

"They will fight for their own rights. We cannot expect those in peninsula to fight for us in Sabah and Sarawak," he told a group of leaders at Mayang Sari Hall here yesterday. He was speaking on the current and future political scenario in Malaysia and also on the newly-formed United Borneo Front (UBF).

"Sabah crack down on murtads" tramples on Malaysian Ageement 1963 !

JESSELTON aka Kota Kinabalu, Sabah:The recent Malaysiakini report 'Sabah to Crack Down on Apostates' is one more of those steps that aim to completely erode the Malaysia Agreement of 1963.

The report stated that Sabah will open a Faith Rehabilitation Centre next year to enforce anti-apostasy laws. This is very saddening and even more saddening is that the statement was made on Christmas Day. A very beautiful Christmas gift indeed for Sabahans.

Section 64 of Title VI in the Malaysia Agreement says that the establishment or maintenance of Muslim institutions in Sabah should have the consent of the governor. This means that such an act should first be passed in the state assembly. Section 65 of title VI meanwhile says that Article 11(4) of the federal constitution which allows for states to prohibit the propagation on non-Islamic religions to Muslims shall not apply to Sabah.

If propagating non-Muslim faiths to Muslims is permissible in Sabah, then there is no reason why a Muslim person cannot convert out.

Most Malaysians against 100-storey project, poll shows

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 — The majority of voters in peninsular Malaysia are against the proposed construction of the 100-storey Warisan Merdeka project, a recent survey by the independent Merdeka Center has revealed.

The survey, conducted between November 30 and December 11, found that 65 per cent of those polled disagreed with the construction of what would be the tallest building in the country.

Opposition to the project was uniform across all three major communities.

Sixty per cent of Malay voters polled disagreed with the project while 76 per cent of Chinese opposed its construction. Among Indians, 58 per cent were against it.

The findings suggest that a recent online protest on the Facebook social networking site was a fair reflection of public opposition to the project.

Mahmud Abbas joins crowds at Bethlehem Christmas Eve Mass

BETHLEHEM, Palestinian Territories (AFP) – The Middle East's senior Catholic cleric called for peace and reconciliation in a traditional Christmas Eve midnight mass before thousands in the birthplace of Jesus Christ.
"During this Christmas season, may the sound of the bells of our churches drown the noise of weapons in our wounded Middle East," Latin Patriarch Fuad Twal told an audience that included Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas.

Pilgrims from around the world gathered in St. Catherine's Church on Bethlehem's Manger Square to hear the traditional address in the city where Christians believe Jesus Christ was born.

As peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians remain stalled, Twal offered a vision of a better, more peaceful future.

"Our hope for Christmas is that Jerusalem not only becomes the capital of two nations, but also a model for the world, of harmony and coexistence of the three monotheistic religions."

By the “Angler” Hello, people. For obvious reasons, I can’t tell you my name. What I can say is that I am 15 years old, in Form 3 and a part of our flawed educational system. As a student, I face problems any other student would. Too much homework,overly-strict teachers, and living up to parents’ expectations (ai caramba!*) are all daily problems. And then, there is also racism. It’s completely standard for me, really. Nearly everyone in my school is a racist, and those that aren’t racists to begin with but are friends with racists end up that way themselves as an attempt to be accepted. If you want proof, just head on over to my school for a day. You will be treated to underage racism at its finest.

When one picks up a history book, one would expect to read a fair account of events as they actually happened in the past. Definitely, one would expect the most accurate record possible of history as it unfolded through the decades, written as objectively as possible.

A most reasonable expectation indeed when the book in question is a major textbook prescribed by our Education Ministry for our students nationwide.

A simple strategy to beat BN at the next GE

If this exists after 53 years, it is time to pass the baton!

I have a simple suggestion how BN can be defeated at the next GE. In fact I learnt this from Karpal Singh.

When I was still in legal practice, I once watched how Karpal won a case at the Supreme court. When his case was called, he stood up and said, “My Lords, I actually have 5 points to make, but I shall not trouble your Lordships with that. All the 5 points are in the written submissions that are already before your Lordships. I shall take no more than 5 minutes to focus on just 1 of the 5 points …”

Needless to say, the 3 judges smiled when they heard he was going to take only 5 minutes of their time. Karpal banged hard on his strongest point of course. No matter how much the prosecution tried to put forward arguments on other points (which Karpal did not trouble to address), it was abundantly clear to the judges that the prosecution could not reply to that most vital point of the case that Karpal latched onto.

A vote for any bn component party, ie MCA, MIC, Gerakan, etc., is actually a vote for Umno!!!

 

Malay, Chinese and Indian are all Malaysian brothers and sisters. But BN has screwed Malaysians and Malaysia up. Take a stand now.

When a Malay, Chinese and Indian, all Malaysians, apply for:-
1)      Scholarships, Malays will get it first irrespective of bright Malaysians
2)      Entry to the local universities and bestcourses such medicine, dentistry, law, Malays will get it first irrespective of quality.      Residential hostels, Matriculation courses, MARA Uni, Malays will get 90% to 100%. (By the way, matriculation exams are internally set      by own lecturers - about thousands of straight A’s students in Matriculation compared to the straight A’s STPM which are few. This is “Malay meritocracy vs Malaysian meritocracy”!
3)   Social Welfare, Malays will get it first irrespective of how poor the Malaysian rakyat is
4)   Business Contracts, Malays will get it first irrespective of who can offer the best value, quality and unblemished track record. Even when blacklisted, Malay associations have the right to complain because the rakyat owes them a living.
5)  Sharing of wealth and equity, IPOs, ASB, Malays will get it first. Even with ASB for Malays give higher returns and principal guaranteed capped at RM200K instead of other bonds for Malaysians with lower yield capped at RM50K.  This will be ongoing. WhyMalays cannot reach 30% equities? Statistics are manipulated so that valuation of shares are based on par value (Imagine valuing CIMB, Maybank, Sime darby etc at par value of RM1.00 instead of market value of RM12 etc. Malaysians must accept these assumptions or make sure this is hidden or else priviledges are gone..!! ) 

Jeffrey wants Sabah, S’wak ‘longhouses’ back

COMMENT The ambitious thrust of the third force in Sabah and Sarawak, under the aegis of the newly-launched United Borneo Front (UBF), is the return to the pre-1963 status of the two states as equal to Malaya (now Peninsular Malaysia).

Third force ideologue and UBF chairman, Jeffrey Kitingan, uses an analogy to describe the pre-1963 status of Sabah and Sarawak.

“Before Malaysia in 1963, Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak can be likened to three longhouses,” said Jeffrey. “Malaysia was supposed to consist of the three longhouses.”

Unfortunately, according to Jeffrey, Malaya demolished the Sabah and Sarawak longhouses after Malaysia and instead gave both states each a bilik (room) in the Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia) longhouse. From being a federation of three territories – Singapore left two years later in 1965 – in equal partnership as per the 1963 federation, Sabah and Sarawak were reduced to being two of 13 states under the 1957 federation.

Dr Jeffrey rendezvous with SNAP President in Miri

Miri, SARAWAK: Former PKR vice president Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, and three of his most trusted lieutenants were apparently in Miri, Sarawak, Sunday (December 19) for a rendezvous with four top officials of SNAP including its president Edwin Dundang.

Those who saw them met at Megah Hotel in Miri said they explored possible joint partnership in political struggle for the future sake of Sabah and Sarawak. Also discussed was the just-unveiled United Borneo Front (UBF) led by Jeffrey.

Accompanying Jeffrey were Daniel John Jambun, Awang Ahmad Sah Awang Sahari and Mozes Iking. The trio are under one-year suspension by PKR till next month for their involvement in the attempt tio register a PKR-breakaway Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) in late 2009.

Jeffrey wants to put deprived Borneo on world stage

KOTA KINABALU: Former PKR vice-president Jeffrey Kitingan, disturbed by the “plight” of the people in Borneo, is hoping to push the community's state of deprivation onto the world stage through his United Borneo Front (UBF).

The maverick politician said Borneans have compromised too much and have been taken advantage of because the island is richly-endowed with mineral resources.

Jeffrey is disturbed that despite nearly 50 years since the state agreed to form Malaysia, its inhabitants remain very poor and "in some cases are comparable to those in Africa".

"We have been compromised in our political position and are too subservient in addressing the Borneo issues with one common voice that is strong, credible and sincere.

"It is time we aligned ourselves with any party or group which can assist us in fulfilling the objectives of UBF's struggles.

"UBF will be making courtesy calls on leaders of various political parties and non-political organisations nationwide and abroad to discuss the Borneo agenda and the need to close the economic and digital divide between the Peninsula and Sabah and Sarawak," he said.

Sunday School

Little Mary was not the best student in Sunday School. Usually she slept through the class. One day the teacher called on her while she was napping, ''Tell me, Mary, who created the universe?'' When Mary didn't stir, little Johnny, an altruistic boy seated in the chair behind her, took a pin and jabbed her in the rear. ''God Almighty !'' shouted Mary and the teacher said, ''Very good'' and Mary fell back to sleep. 

A while later the teacher asked Mary, ''Who is our Lord and Savior?'' But Mary didn't even stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to the rescue and stuck her again. ''Jesus Christ!'' shouted Mary and the teacher said, ''Very good,'' and Mary fell back to sleep. Then the teacher asked Mary a third question, ''What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?'' And again, Johnny jabbed her with the pin. This time Mary jumped up and shouted, ''If you stick that damn thing in me one more time, I'll break it in half!'' The Teacher fainted.

A biker was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you have TRIED to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish." The Lord said, "Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! It will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for Me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind."

The biker thought about it for a long time Finally he said, "Lord, I wish that I and all men could understand our wives. I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, and how I can make a woman truly happy."

The Lord replied, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

Is Jeffrey toying with PKR?

KOTA KINABALU: Annoyed PKR leaders may push to end former party vice-president Jeffrey Kitingan's “flirtatious” way when they meet tomorrow. 

Sources said party leaders who are scheduled to meet in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow “might be tempted” to end Jeffrey's career in PKR.

"Some senior leaders of PKR are mulling the idea of sacking Jeffrey in the same way it asked Zaid Ibrahim to leave when the latter said he was giving the party a month's notice of his resignation," the source said.

At that time, PKR secretary-general Saifudin Nasution Ismail had said that Zaid could leave immediately instead of Dec 16 and issued a letter stating he was no longer a member of the party.

Ikim stirs controversy with 'Not all religions are equal' comment

Over the last few days, a controversy has been brewing over a statement by the Institute of Islamic Understanding (Ikim) that Islam considers that not all religions are equal, and that the concept of pluralism is antithetical to Islam.

The Umno-owned and controlled Utusan Malaysia daily has gone to town with stories suggesting that religious pluralism is a threat to Islam, and that Pakatan Rakyat supremo and opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is pushing for other religions to be put on an equal footing with Islam.

According to the newspaper, those who question the position of Islam and the Malays are practitioners of religious pluralism, in what appears to be a claim that Anwar’s rejection of Umno’s “ketuanan Melayu” concept is unIslamic, or even anti-Islam.

I think we should not just jump at Ikim and unilaterally condemn its view about the exclusivity of Islam without some serious objective evaluation and understanding of the teaching of the religion.

Jeffrey forms movement for Sabahans, Sarawakians, remains in PKR for now

He also said that he was not leaving PKR as was widely speculated and dodged questions if he would leave the party in the near future.

MCLM - not the Third Force, says its founder

Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA: When news of a "third force" first broke out a few months ago in the heat of PKR direct leadership elections, many viewed it with scepticism, rather than optimism.

While some political party leaders, notably from PKR, dismissed this third force as neither a "third" nor a "force", others even claimed that the newly-launched Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement (MCLM) was meant to siphon off votes away from the party.

Indeed, the timing of the group has raised eyebrows as it was easy to link MCLM with the recently-concluded controvery wracked PKR elections.

However, setting the record straight is Haris Ibrahim (right), MCLM president who was appointed in October - in absentia - when the committee first met in London.

Malaysians increasingly worried BN will stage a coup

Muhyiddin Yassin, the Deputy Prime minister, was quick to blame PAS for attempting to discredit the government because PAS claimed there was a BN plan to seize power if the PR opposition were to win the 13th general election.

Muhyiddin said, “This is malicious and prejudicial aimed at scaring the people.”

PAS leaders are only interpreting the signs presented by BN.

Chaos in the House: Pakatan MPs face suspension, WikiLeaks motion rejected

FULL REPORT KUALA LUMPUR: The BN-led government has  proposed that three Pakatan Rakyat lawmakers be suspended for six months pertaining to the Apco row.

The three - Azmin Ali (PKR-Gombak), R Sivarasa (PKR-Subang) and Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) - will likely face suspension for leaking details on the Rights and Privileges Committee probe on Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Yesterday the committee had tabled a motion to suspend Anwar for the same period.

Anwar was hauled up before the committee for linking Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak's 1Malaysia brainchild to the One Israel campaign.

He also accused Apco Worldwide, a public relations company hired by the Najib administration, of having links with the Zionist state.

East Malaysia: the REAL Third Force in Malaysian politics

Yes, whoever gets to form the next federal government and whether it will be with a simple majority or a two-thirds majority will depend on East Malaysia. And those in Sabah and Sarawak know this. So, expect some surprises from East Malaysia over the next month or so.

Suspensions will give BN two-thirds majority

(Malaysiakini) - Pakatan Rakyat says the anticipated suspension of four of its MPs tomorrow will lead to BN regaining its two-thirds majority in Parliament. Rasah MP Anthony Loke said the implications of this are huge and the consequences dire for Pakatan.

"Maybe the BN will use this opportunity to amend the federal constitution or re-draw the electoral boundaries," Loke told reporters at the Parliament lobby today.

A motion to suspend Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim for six-months was tabled yesterday in a bid to censure him for claiming that Apco Worldwide - a public relations firm that advises the Najib administration - was linked to the Zionist regime of Israel. Following this, Anwar was referred to the rights and privileges committee, which recommended that Anwar be suspended, despite not giving him the opportunity to make his defence.

The committee's investigation has been criticised by three Pakatan MPs - Azmin Ali (PKR-Gombak), R Sivarasa (PKR-Subang) and Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor). They have been accused of breaking the embargo on the committee's report and a motion, to be tabled today, aims to suspend them for six months as well.

Loke said speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia had "allowed the federal government to use its majority as it likes. Tomorrow, they will pass a motion to suspend Anwar and now three more MPs from Pakatan. I see a hidden agenda here.”

“This will mean huge political implications for Pakatan in Parliament because now there are 76 MPs and if four are suspended for the next six months, we will lose our one-third strength in the House. We will only have 72 in MPs,” he said.
